Recommended for ages 12+; This production contains some adult themes, including discussions of suicide. Children under the age of four will not be permitted in the theatre.

Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket to enter the theatre. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and sat next to a ticketholder who is at least 18 years old. The production reopened at London’s Nöel Coward Theatre on 26 October 2021; with many cast members returning including Sam Tutty who won the 2020 Oliver Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his role as Evan Hansen. Nestling in at the Noel Coward Theatre on London’s St Martin’s Lane is the incredible Dear Evan Hansen. Given the numerous awards it has garnered and the Grammy Award for best Musical Theatre Album, it's my time to take a seat in the glorious auditorium and settle down for the evening. The staging for the show is simple and, I would imagine, this is in order to focus the mind on what’s being played out. It’s an intimate theatre and with a fairly small cast it was perfectly matched. Heads up – no matter what seat you choose, you will get a good view!

Julianne Moore cast in Dear Evan Hansen musical film

Hollywood movie star Julianne Moore (The Big Lebowski, Hannibal) has been cast to portray Heidi Hansen in the upcoming musical film adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen, it has been announced. The multi-award-winning actress is set to join the eight-member principal cast, including Ben Platt who has been confirmed to reprise his role as Evan Hansen for the big screen. The hit musical was originally scheduled to extend its West End run at the Noel Coward Theatre until 27 June 2020 before the coronavirus pandemic struck. A 2021 return date to the London stage has yet to be confirmed or announced.
