It’s showtime, folks! The ghost-with-the-most comes to the stage in this edgy and irreverent musical comedy based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film. BEETLEJUICE tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager obsessed with the whole “being dead thing.” Lucky for Lydia, her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium, and the biggest sandworm Broadway has ever seen.

On a recent trip to New York, I saw Beetlejuice The Musical on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre and it beyond lived up to the hype I’d been hearing from this side of the pond. The critics and public alike have been raving and it fast became a bucket list must-see for me. This isn’t just a musical but a completely electric experience and it’s one that West End theatre fans desperately need!
During the month of October, Beetlejuice The Musical will be celebrating Halloween every day by giving out limited edition Playbills*, hosting costume contests and offering exclusive swag and Halloween cocktails. Here’s hoping the show's Halloween celebration includes a West End transfer announcement.
*Playbills are the US’ version of programmes and they’re completely free to every ticket holder. Basically, the West End needs playbills.
